This site is very popular for shark teeth collectors due to the huge range of different species of sharks found here. The site is dated to the Miocene age. There is no digging in the cliffs as this is illegal. It is best to check the tide times before going to this site. The best time to fossil hunt here is just after the Autumn storms when the cliffs have been weathered by the sea. The types of fossils found are mostly the Miocene marine mammals and invertebrates.
