Kings Dyke Nature Reserve

The Fossils Galore Fossil Hunts are now here and available for all Fossil, Rock and mineral collectors or beginners.

The first trip to be organised will be a free to show you what we are all about and what we do. The trip will be at the following location:

We shall all meet up in the main Hanson sales office car park at 11am. If you need directions then please let me know and i can get you directions from your home address straight to the sales office car park.

The Fossils Galore Team will be there to meet you.

 

The types of fossils you would be likely to find:

Ammonites, Belemnites, Gastropods, Bivalves, fish bones, Coprolites, Gryphaea, worm burrows, fossil wood.

Some of the rarer known finds from this location:

Juvenile Ophthalmosaurus skeleton, Crocodile teeth, Crocodile bone, Plesiosaur Teeth, Plesiosaur bone, Sharks Teeth, Sharks Fin spines, Lepidotes scales.
